2 Payment and Pricing
2.1 All prices shown are inclusive of VAT.
2.2 We reserve the right to alter prices and specifications without prior notice. However in the event that we have to substitute your trophy we will try to either upgrade or substitute with a trophy of the same price and quality.
2.3 All transactions are by credit/debit card and will be charged at the time of ordering. Various cards are accepted as indicated. The transaction should appear on your bank statement as Paypal*Ikonik. Orders are not confirmed until you have recieved a dispatch of goods email.
3 Product descriptions
3.1 All measurements, descriptions are sizes are approximate and are not subject to a guarantee of accuracy.
4 Engraving
4.1 Engraving of flat plates, which are separately attached to trophies, is Free of Charge without limitation except physical constraints but we reserve the right to set out the style and size of the engraving. Direct engraving of trophies is subject to additional charges - this includes glassware, silverware, nickel plated cups, stainless steel hip flasks, pewter items, medals and acrylics - and the charge is stated in the description of the trophy.
4.2 We have included a box next to the products to insert your engraving details. Special attention must be given to ensuring accuracy when advising of your engraving requirements. Ikon Trophies will engrave according to this instruction unless specifically agreed otherwise. Ikon Trophies will not be responsible for any mistakes in the instruction.
5 Delivery
5.1 Delivery charges are automatically included in calculating the total value of your order. They apply to the UK Mainland only. For deliveries required outside of the UK Mainland, our staff will either call you or email you to advise of the delivery charge prior to your order being confirmed.
5.2 Despatch is normally within 4 - 10 working days from receipt of your firm order. You will be notified if there is a problem in achieving this with your particular order (e.g. Silverware, pewterware, acrylic may take slightly longer). ‘Receipt of firm order’ means the point in time when Paypal accepts payment for your order and confirmation has been sent by email to the email address advised.
5.3 When receiving goods, please check the contents of the parcel before signing the delivery note or alternatively sign the note “unchecked”. Delivery will normally be made during business hours Monday to Friday (8.30am to 5.30pm). Unfortunately we are not able to specify the exact time.
5.4 Your order cannot be delivered to PO boxes. If no one is available to sign for the order when it is delivered, you have an option to arrange for another delivery date. If you fail to contact the carrier according to the carrier’s requirements the order will be returned to Ikon Trophies and a further carriage charge will be made to your card to re-send it back to you. If in the event you fail to arrange your delivery via a new date and subsequently the order is no longer needed we will arrange to the goods to be returned and a credit will be issued to the customer less a 25% admin charge and the delivery costs.
6 Returns, breakages and shortages
6.1 In the event of unwanted goods being returned, items must be received in a re-saleable condition and restocking of unwanted goods will be credited less 25 %. Carriage or postage will not be reimbursed. Please note any trophy which as been directly engraved (medals, plaques, crystal, acrylic, silverware, pewterware and custom items) cannot be returned.
6.2 Shortages must be notified in writing or by email within 3 working days of delivery. Ikon Trophies will rectify the shortages as soon as possible or, alternatively, refund 100% of the value of the shortages at our discretion.
6.3 Breakages must be notified in writing or by email within 3 working days of delivery. Ikon Trophies will rectify the damaged goods as soon as possible or, alternatively, refund 100% of the value of the broken products at our discretion. Ikon Trophies reserves the right to insist on the return of the damaged goods prior to considering any remedial action.
7 Complaints
7.1 In the rare event of a complaint, please contact us immediately by telephone or by e-mail and we will do our utmost to resolve the problem.
8 Acceptance
8.1 The placing of an online order denotes the knowledge and acceptance of these terms and conditions.
